Recent interest to decarbonize buildings has led to calls for the adoption of digital technologies. While technology has been the core of Building Information Modelling (BIM), its focus has often been digital construction technologies with hardly any consideration on technologies that underpin most societies and cities. Microsoft products are amongst the most widely used in practice but hardly considered as part of tools that can be used in deploying or enhancing BIM for managing assets. This workshop will illustrate how BIM and Microsoft Systems will be combined and used in demystifying the ever-growing complex asset management data for improving the performance of the assets
